The following items are needed:

• Diapers and wipes (sizes 2-5 and pull-ups)

• Menstrual pads

• Toothpaste and brushes

• Bath soap

• shampoo and conditioner

• body lotion

• Vaseline or Aquaphor gel

• underwear and socks for men, women and children

We also have nomination papers for the Democratic candidates running in this year’s election. Please swing by to sign their papers to get them on the ballot! All Cohasset residents who are registered Democrats or registered voters not enrolled in any party may sign the papers.

Registered Democrats in Cohasset will hold a virtual caucus on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. eastern to elect Delegates and Alternates to the 2023 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention.

Democrats who wish to participate must register at cohassetdemocrats.org/caucus.

This year’s state convention will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, where Democrats from across the state will come together to adopt a Party Agenda and/or Platform by a majority vote of Convention delegates present and voting based upon the recommendation, subject to amendments, of the Party Agenda or Platform Committee. Resolutions may be developed through a process beginning with caucuses of local Democrats.

Registered and pre-registered Democrats in Cohasset 16 years old by May 23, 2023 may vote and be elected as delegates or alternates during the caucus. Youth (age 16 to 35), people with disabilities, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community not elected as delegates or alternates are encouraged to apply to be add-on delegates at the caucus or by visiting massdems.org/massdems-convention. Cohasset will elect 6 delegates and 4 alternates.

Registered Democrats in Cohasset will hold a virtual caucus on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. to elect Delegates and Alternates to the 2022 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention.

Democrats who wish to participate must register at cohassetdemocrats.org/caucus.

This year’s state convention will be held on June 3rd and 4th at the DCU Center in Worcester (and virtually), where Democrats from across the state will come together to endorse candidates for statewide office, including Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary, Attorney General and Auditor, ahead of the Democratic Primary this September.

The caucus is open to all registered and pre-registered Democrats in Cohasset. Pre-registered Democrats who will be 16 years old by February 4, 2022 will be allowed to participate and run as a Delegate or Alternate. Cohasset can elect 5 Delegates and 4 Alternates to the Convention.

Youth, minorities, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ individuals who are not elected as a Delegate or Alternate may apply to be an Add-on Delegate at the caucus or at www.massdems.org by April 9, 2022.

The Massachusetts Democratic Party, in fulfillment of the “Charter of the Democratic Party of  the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,” hereby calls a convention for the purpose of adopting a party platform. 

The convention will occur on September 25, 2021, and the final schedule will be announced in the Final Call to Convention, which will be published in August 2021.

The Cohasset Democratic Town Committee will host its caucus on Thursday, July 22, 2021, to elect its Delegates and Alternates to the 2021 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention. The caucus will take place virtually. Democrats who wish to participate virtually may register here. Pre-registration is REQUIRED.

This year’s state convention will be held on September 25th (location forthcoming), where Democrats from across the state will come together to adopt a Party platform, discuss Party business and celebrate our successes as we prepare for upcoming elections. The event will take place in line with all federal, state, and local health guidelines and will include a virtual option for participation.

The caucus is open to all registered and pre-registered Democrats in Cohasset. Pre-registered Democrats who will be 16 years old by June 15, 2021, will be allowed to participate and run as a Delegate or Alternate. Cohasset can elect 4 Delegates and 4 Alternates to the Convention.  

Youth, minorities, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ individuals who are not elected as a Delegate or Alternate may apply to be an Add-on Delegate at the caucus or at www.massdems.org by August 6, 2021. However, we encourage you to run as a Delegate or Alternate at our Caucus first.
